New standards for forest inventory and commodification of forest-cutting fund in the Republic of Belarus [PDF]

open access: yesСибирский лесной журнал, 2017
Since 2013, new assortment tables have been adopted in the Republic of Belarus, and since 2015 new growth tables for pine, spruce, birch and aspen. Growth tables were compiled based on 1353 trial plots, where 2546 model trees were taken.

Preclinical Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Chondroitin Sulfate

open access: yesБезопасность и риск фармакотерапии, 2021
Chondroitin sulfate is used for osteoarthritis combination therapy. It should be taken into account that the structure and properties of polysaccharides included in chondroitin sulfate, as well as the raw materials used for its production, have a ...

SAGE: Spatially Aware Gene Selection and Dual‐View Embedding Fusion for Domain Identification in Spatial Transcriptomics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SAGE is a unified framework for spatial domain identification in spatial transcriptomics that jointly models tissue architecture and gene programs. Topic‐driven gene selection (NMF plus classifier‐based scoring) highlights spatially informative genes, while dual‐view graph embedding fuses local expression and non‐local functional relations.

Additivity and Distinguishability of Random Unitary Channels

open access: yes, 2008
A random unitary channel is one that is given by a convex combination of unitary channels. It is shown that the conjectures on the additivity of the minimum output entropy and the multiplicativity of the maximum output $p$-norm can be equivalently ...

Selectivity Filter Dynamics Define Ion Conductance and Selectivity Differences in CNG and HCN Channels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cyclic nucleotide‐gated (CNG) and hyperpolarization‐activated cyclic nucleotide‐gated (HCN) channels share substantial sequence and structural similarity but differ markedly in ion conductance and K+ selectivity. Microsecond‐scale atomistic MD simulations qualitatively reproduced the conductance differences observed in single‐channel recordings and ...

Molecular dynamics study of the effect of extended ingrain defects on grain growth kinetics in nanocrystalline copper

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
The paper presents results of a large-scale classical molecular dynamics study into the effect of ingrain defects on the grain growth rate of face centered cubic nanocrystalline material under thermal annealing.

Preparation of three-dimensional entanglement for distant atoms in coupled cavities via atomic spontaneous emission and cavity decay

open access: yes, 2014
We propose a dissipative scheme to prepare a three-dimensional entangled state for two atoms trapped in separate coupled cavities. Our work shows that both atomic spontaneous emission and cavity decay, which are two typical obstacles in unitary-dynamics ...

Thermally Programmable Two‐Port Non‐Hermitian Acoustic Metastructure for Broadband and Direction‐Dependent Absorption

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A thermally programmable two‐port non‐Hermitian acoustic metastructure is presented, where temperature acts as a non‐geometric tuning variable. Thermal modulation reconfigures impedance matching and loss‐leakage coupling, enabling exceptional‐point driven, broadband, and direction‐dependent sound absorption without requiring geometric reconfiguration ...
