DEVELOPMENT OF COMPLEX PHARMACOTHERAPY OF SEVERE AND MODERATE PAIN. PART I. MULTITARGETED COMBINATION OF OPIOIDS AND NON-OPIOID ANALGESICS WITH CENTRAL EFFECTS

open access: yesРазработка и регистрация лекарственных средств, 2019
Medicines based on opioid analgesics are the basic means of pharmacotherapy of severe pain at present. Approaches to increase efficacy and safety of complex opioid analgesia are described and classified based on analysis of medicinal and veterinary ...

Artificial Intelligences: A Bridge Toward Diverse Intelligence and Humanity's Future

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Many discussions of artificial intelligence fail to address deeper questions being raised by advances in developmental biology, neuroscience, bioengineering, and philosophy of mind. Novel beings, including technologically and biologically augmented humans, engineered life forms, hybrots, and others, require tools of the emerging field of diverse ...

Robust and parsimonious realisations of unitaries in the one-way model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We present a new set of generators for unitary maps over \otimes^n(C^2) which differs from the traditional rotation-based generating set in that it uses a single-parameter family of 1-qubit unitaries J(a), together with a single 2-qubit unitary controlled-Z. Each generator is implementable in the one-way model using only two qubits, and this leads to

Generation and characterization of resource state for nonlinear cubic phase gate

open access: yes, 2013
Unitary non-Gaussian nonlinearity is one of the key components required for quantum computation and other developing applications of quantum information processing.

Reprogrammable, In‐Materia Matrix‐Vector Multiplication with Floppy Modes

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This article describes a metamaterial that mechanically computes matrix‐vector multiplications, one of the fundamental operations in artificial intelligence models. The matrix multiplication is encoded in floppy modes, near‐zero force deformations of soft matter systems.

Interactive Proofs for Synthesizing Quantum States and Unitaries [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
Whereas quantum complexity theory has traditionally been concerned with problems arising from classical complexity theory (such as computing boolean functions), it also makes sense to study the complexity of inherently quantum operations such as constructing quantum states or performing unitary transformations. With this motivation, we define models of

Energy Cost of Creating Quantum Coherence

open access: yes, 2016
We consider the physical situations where the resource theories of coherence and thermodynamics play competing roles. In particular, we study the creation of quantum coherence using unitary operations with limited thermodynamic resources.

Thermalization through unitary evolution of pure states [PDF]

open access: yesEurophysics Letters (EPL), 2006
The unitary time evolution of a critical quantum spin chain with an impurity is calculated, and the entanglement evolution is shown. Moreover, we show that the reduced density matrix of a part of the chain evolves such that the fidelity of its spectrum is very high with respect to a state in thermal equilibrium.
