Gold Nanoparticles Guided by Self‐Assembling Peptides: From Sequence to Superstructure

open access: yesChemBioChem, EarlyView.
Self‐assembling peptides act as versatile templates for gold nanoparticle (AuNP) synthesis. Their organization into discrete nanostructures or hydrogels enables control over AuNP morphology and assembly, offering new opportunities for functional nanomaterials.

Amyloid‐Related Imaging Abnormality (ARIA) Beyond the APOE‐ε4 Allele

open access: yesChronic Diseases and Translational Medicine, EarlyView.
Mechanism of action of monoclonal antibodies targeting Aβ in the treatment of AD. (A) Targets of various mAbs. (B) Mechanism of monoclonal antibody‐mediated clearance of Aβ. mAbs facilitate the clearance of Aβ by enhancing microglial‐mediated phagocytosis through the upregulation of TREM2 expression.

Interference of the Reference Electrodes’ Leakage on the Aging of Copper Hexacyanoferrate for Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesChemElectroChem, EarlyView.
The performance of CuHCF in Zn‐ion batteries is significantly affected by the leakage of potassium from Ag/AgCl reference electrodes. This study demonstrates that even small amounts of KCl can alter cycle life, while sodium‐based references provide more stable results.

Chemical Properties of an Aryloxenium Cation with a Triplet Electronic Ground State

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Accepted Article.
Aryloxenium cations contain a formally positively‐charged, monovalent oxygen atom with an incomplete electron shell. In spite of this unusual structural element, they are key intermediates in many important processes, such as biological oxidation reactions and the industrial generation of thermoplastics.
