Unveiling Structural Heterogeneity and Evolutionary Adaptations of Heteromultimeric Bacterioferritin Nanocages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study explores the structural heterogeneity and evolutionary adaptations of heteromultimeric bacterioferritins. Hetero‐Bfrs, evolved from either a homo‐Bfr or Ftn by gene duplications, differ from homo‐Bfrs substantially in the mechanisms underpinning iron oxidation and reduction despite high similarity in overall structure.

Univalent approximation by Fourier series of step functions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We prove that univalent harmonic mappings can be approximated by univalent Fourier series of step functions.

Geometric Properties of Partial Sums of Univalent Functions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2012
The $n$th partial sum of an analytic function $f(z)=z+\sum_{k=2}^\infty a_k z^k$ is the polynomial $f_n(z):=z+\sum_{k=2}^n a_k z^k$. A survey of the univalence and other geometric properties of the $n$th partial sum of univalent functions as well as other related functions including those of starlike, convex and close-to-convex functions are presented.

Resilient Membranized Coacervates Formed through Spontaneous Wrapping of Heat‐Destabilized Lipid Bilayers around Coacervate Droplets

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a universal way to wrap liposomes around coacervate droplets. Membrane‐enclosed coacervates form when heat‐destabilized liposomes are mixed with coacervates. Membranized coacervates (MCs) can survive pH and ionic strength fluctuations, osmotic stress, and low temperatures.

Fekete-Szegö problem for certain classes of Ma-Minda bi-univalent functions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
In the present work, we propose to investigate the Fekete-Szeg\"o inequalities certain classes of analytic and bi-univalent functions defined by subordination. The results in the bounds of the third coefficient which improve many known results concerning different classes of bi-univalent functions. Some interesting applications of the results presented

Targeting PTBP3‐Mediated Alternative Splicing of COX11 Induces Cuproptosis for Inhibiting Gastric Cancer Peritoneal Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The splicing factor PTBP3 promotes COX11 exon skipping, allowing gastric cancer organoids to evade cuproptosis. Antisense oligonucleotide drugs targeting PTBP3‐mediated COX11 alternative splicing, in combination with copper ionophores, promote cuproptosis in organoids, thereby providing a therapeutic approach for gastric cancer peritoneal metastasis ...

Inclusion properties for bi-univalent functions of complex order defined by combining of Faber polynomial expansions and Fibonacci numbers [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
In this present investigation, we introduce the new class R of bi-univalent functions defined by using the Tremblay fractional derivative operator. Additionally, we use the Faber polynomial expansions and Fibonacci numbers to derive bounds for the general coefficient an of the bi-univalent function class.
