A series of fluorine‐free bis(glycolato)borate anion‐based salts comprising lithium, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium cations has been synthesized and thoroughly characterized. Some of the created electrolytes reveal promising ion transport and electrochemical properties for battery applications.
