Universal filter using a ‘pseudo’ gyrator

International Journal of Electronics, 2008
A filter based on a ‘pseudo’ gyrator that simultaneously makes a low-pass, band-pass and notch transfer function is presented. By adding another amplifier, this circuit can also make a high-pass and an all-pass filter. Two prototypes using usual op. amp. or current feed-back operational amplifiers (CFOAs) are proposed.

Universal Kriging of RSS Databases in a Bayesian Filter

2018 21st International Conference on Information Fusion (FUSION), 2018
Received signal strength (RSS) based navigation is chosen for many indoor propagation scenarios because of the high availability and low cost of the needed infrastructure. Usually, RSS-based navigation relies on fingerprinting techniques. TRe-cently, methods for the spatial interpolation of RSS databases, including ordinary and universal Kriging have ...

Universal curves for bandpass filters

Proceedings of the IEEE, 1971
Universal curves are presented which permit the determination of bandpass poles when band-edge frequencies and low-pass poles are known. These curves are also useful for band-reject filters.

An Universal Active Power Filter Controller System

2009 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2009
An universal active power filter controller system is proposed that adapts itself to both harmonic current source type loads as well as harmonic voltage source type loads is presented in this paper. The system level harmonic filtering application issues of a multiple and clustered harmonic producing load site, such as at an industrial load site or at a

Universal transadmittance filter using CMOS MOCDTA

2014 Eleventh International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN), 2014
This paper presents a new realization of transadmittance mode universal filter having three inputs and single output. The circuit employs two current differencing transconductance amplifier (CDTA), two capacitors and two resistors. One of the CDTA has multiple outputs hence, called MOCDTA.

Current-mode Active-only Universal Filter

APCCAS 2006 - 2006 IEEE Asia Pacific Conference on Circuits and Systems, 2006
A universal current-mode active-only filter using the biquadratic transfer function is proposed. The proposed circuit is realized by minimized active-only components count without external passive elements. The different kinds of filter function as lowpass, highpass, bandpass and band-reject response can be obtained without changing circuit topology ...

Design of current conveyors and their applications in universal filters

2011 8th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control, 2011
This paper shows the evolution of voltage followers (VFs) to design positive- and negative-type first (CCI), second (CCII) and third (CCIII) generation current conveyors (CCs), through the addition of current mirrors (CMs). Particularly, three dual-output CCIIs (DOCCIIs) are designed to be electronically tuned by modifying their current bias, thus ...

Filter Design for Universal Filtered Multicarrier (UFMC) based Systems

2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems and Computer Networks (ISCON), 2019
The universal filtered Multi-carrier (UFMC) is the most considerable modulation scheme for next generation wireless networks. The UFMC based system output is highly dependent on the sub-band filter response that used at transmitter end, which influences the emission of sub-band into the adjacent sub-bands and hence inter-carrier interference (ICI) and ...

Filter optimization of low out-of-subband emission for universal-filtered multicarrier systems

2016 IEEE International Conference on Communications Workshops (ICC), 2016
In this paper, a filter optimization method for suppressing out-of-subband (OOSB) emission in universal-filtered multicarrier (UFMC) systems is proposed. UFMC is an attractive waveform candidate for 5G mobile communication systems because it has both the advantages of OFDM and filter bank multicarrier (FBMC).

Current conveyor based universal biquad filter

ICECS 2001. 8th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.01EX483), 2002
A current-mode biquad filter using as active elements unity gain current conveyors is presented. The proposed circuit has one input and three outputs and can simultaneously realize lowpass, band-pass and high-pass responses. The structure, which has all the passive elements grounded and only two capacitors, presents low sensitivities and independent ...
