Discrete universal filtering through incremental parsing [PDF]

open access: yesData Compression Conference, 2004. Proceedings. DCC 2004, 2004
In the discrete filtering problem, a data sequence over a finite alphabet is assumed to be corrupted by a discrete memoryless channel. The goal is to reconstruct the clean sequence, with as high a fidelity as possible, by way of causal processing of the noisy sequence alone, with the reconstruction at time t depending only on noisy observations ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Universal Filtered Multicarrier for 5G

open access: yes, 2017
The future cellular networks intend to achieve even higher data rates and for this reason needs to be more robust against inter channel interference (ICI) and inter symbol interference (ISI). There are certain limitations that would not allow orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) to work efficiently for future requirements of cellular ...

Universal Discrete Filtering With Lookahead or Delay

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory
We consider the universal discrete filtering problem, where an input sequence generated by an unknown source passes through a discrete memoryless channel, and the goal is to estimate its components based on the output sequence with limited lookahead or delay. We propose and establish the universality of a family of schemes for this setting.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

A Reconfigurable-Band Analog Filter Standard-Cell Based on Differential/Single Input Signaling

open access: yesIEEE Access
This work presents a reconfigurable-band analog filter capable of performing the low-pass, high-pass, band-pass or all-pass functions. The proposed filter is a simple and compact cell composed of only two RC networks and one differential Operational ...

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

An Approach to CFOA-based Second-Order Universal Filters

open access: yesElektronika ir Elektrotechnika
In this work, two universal current-mode (CM) filters are proposed. These filters are single-input three-output filter and three-input single-output filter.

New Universal Current-mode Biquad Using Only Three ZC-CFTAs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The objective of this paper is to present a new universal Current-mode biquad capable of providing all the five basic filter functions, namely, low pass (LP), Band pass (BP), high pass (HP), Band reject (BR) and all pass (AP) from the same configuration ...

Local transformation of mixed states of two qubits to Bell diagonal states

open access: yes, 2002
The optimal entanglement manipulation for a single copy of mixed states of two qubits is to transform it to a Bell diagonal state. In this paper we derive an explicit form of the local operation that can realize such a transformation. The result obtained
