Whole‐genome sequencing of the Octopus mimus–O. hubbsorum complex in the eastern Pacific identified two main genetic clades—northern warm‐water and southern cold‐water lineages—with a broad admixture zone during ENSO years where admixed individuals reflect both their genomic makeup and local environments.
