Ecol EvolTerrestrial leaf litter can have direct effects on aquatic organisms. We found that leaf litter leachates can have direct negative effects on a fungal amphibian pathogen (Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis), but these effects did not translate to large changes in infection.

ChemSusChemHalogen thermochemistry is not well described by DFT at the GGA, meta‐GGA and hybrid levels. Electronegativity‐based corrections can be devised to swiftly and efficiently mitigate the DFT errors with respect to experiments. The negative impact of halogen errors on surface Pourbaix diagrams is illustrated for Pt and Cu.
