Flight Demonstration of Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) at Technical Capability Level 3 [PDF]
The goal of the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) effort at NASA is to enable access to low-altitude airspace for small UAS. This goal is being achieved partly through partnerships that NASA has developed with the FAA, other government agencies, the UAS stakeholder community, and the designated FAA UAS Test Sites.

Structured Urban Airspace Capacity Analysis: Four Drone Delivery Cases
A route network-based urban airspace is one of the initial operational concepts of managing the high-density very low-level (VLL) urban airspace for unmanned aircraft system (UAS) traffic management (UTM).

Space Weather and Low‐Altitude Drone Economy
Abstract Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are becoming integral to the emerging low‐altitude economy, operating primarily below 3,000 m for applications such as logistics, inspection, precision agriculture, and urban air mobility. The safe and reliable operation of UAVs depends critically on communication, navigation, and surveillance (CNS) systems ...

Principles for Applying AI to Address the Challenges of Scaling Digital Twins
ABSTRACT Despite the increasing affordability of data processing and storage and the enhancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies in recent years, scalability and adoption continue to be a challenge when it comes to digital twins (DTs). Common challenges that are often cited include the effort of designing and building DTs, high

Reliable channel estimation in low‐altitude ISAC is challenged by UAV‐induced fast‐varying and non‐stationary channels. We present an ST‐cGAN framework that jointly models spatial and temporal features under conditional adversarial learning, achieving superior accuracy and robustness compared with conventional and deep learning baselines.
