Density functional theory calculations reveal a formic acid-assisted proton transfer mechanism for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of pyruvic acid catalyzed by a chiral Fe complex, FeH[(R,R)-BESNCH(Ph)CH(Ph)NH2](η6-p-cymene), with formic acid as the ...

A method to find unstable periodic orbits for the diamagnetic Kepler Problem
A method to determine the admissibility of symbolic sequences and to find the unstable periodic orbits corresponding to allowed symbolic sequences for the diamagnetic Kepler problem is proposed by using the ordering of stable and unstable manifolds.

Unstable particle's wave-function renormalization prescription [PDF]
We strictly define two set Wave-function Renormalization Constants (WRC) under the LSZ reduction formula for unstable particles at the first time.

In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

Hygroscopic behavior of multicomponent organic aerosols and their internal mixtures with ammonium sulfate [PDF]
Water-soluble organic compounds (WSOCs) are important components of organics in the atmospheric fine particulate matter. Although WSOCs play an important role in the hygroscopicity of aerosols, knowledge on the water uptake behavior of internally ...

Matrix Stiffness Induces Pericyte-Fibroblast Transition Through YAP Activation
Vascular pericytes, important mural cells that retain progenitor cell properties and protect vascular integrity in healthy tissues, are often associated with tumor development, but their functions in cancer invasion remain elusive.

Multiple Front Propagation Into Unstable States
The dynamics of transient patterns formed by front propagation in extended nonequilibrium systems is considered. Under certain circumstances, the state left behind a front propagating into an unstable homogeneous state can be an unstable periodic pattern.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.
