脂蛋白(a)与颈动脉粥样硬化不稳定斑块的关系 Relationship between Lipoprotein(a) and Unstable Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque

open access: yesZhongguo cuzhong zazhi

Computational analysis to assess hemodynamic forces in descending thoracic aortic aneurysms

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, Volume 604, Issue 19, Page 8112-8140, 1 October 2026.
Abstract figure legend Left: Pre‐processing. First, we perform the segmentation of the Computer Tomography angiorgraphy (angio‐CT) scans of a healthy patient, obtaining the surface of a healthy thoracic aorta with a Type III aortic arch. Then, we build nine ideal configurations with Descending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm (DTAA), varying the aortic arch ...

PETCT Imaging of Unstable Carotid Plaque with Ga-68 labelled Somatostatin Receptor Ligand. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
BACKGROUND Ga68 labelled somatostatin receptor ligand PET imaging has recently been shown in preclinical and early human studies to have a potential role in the evaluation of vulnerable arterial plaques.

Atherosclerotic Plaque Stability Is Affected by the Chemokine CXCL10 in Both Mice and Humans

open access: yesInternational Journal of Inflammation, 2011
Background. The chemokine CXCL10 is specifically upregulated during experimental development of plaque with an unstable phenotype. In this study we evaluated the functional consequences of these findings in mice and humans. Methods and Results. In ApoE-/-

Determinants of carotid intima-media thickness in patients with asymptomatic unstable plaques: a population-based cross-sectional study in rural China

open access: yesFrontiers in Endocrinology
PurposeStroke remains a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, with carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) and carotid plaque being significant predictors of cerebrovascular diseases.

Contrast-enhanced carotid ultrasound: current status

open access: yesРоссийский кардиологический журнал, 2019
Unstable atherosclerotic plaques (ASP) are the cause of acute ischemia in the carotid and coronary systems. Numerous studies have shown a relationship between plaque instability, manifestations, echogenicity, histological findings and its ...

The value of Lp(a) and TG/HDLC in peripheral blood to assess the stability of carotid plaque in patients with ischemic stroke

open access: yesBrain and Behavior
Objective The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between lipoprotein (a) (Lp(a)), triglyceride/high‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (TG/HDL‐C), and the stability of carotid atherosclerotic plaque in patients with acute ischemic ...

Predictive haemodynamics in a one-dimensional human carotid artery bifurcation. Part II: application to graft design [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
A Bayesian surrogate modelling technique is proposed that may be able to predict an optimal bypass graft configuration for patients suffering with stenosis in the internal carotid artery (ICA). At the outset, this statistical technique is considered as a
