Experimental Investigation on Jet Vector Deflection Jumping Phenomenon of Coanda Effect Nozzle
The Coanda effect nozzle is a fluid thrust vectoring technology that uses the Coanda effect to control jet vector deflection. The jumping phenomenon often occurs in the process of controlling jet vector deflection.

Abstract Emulsion separation remains a persistent challenge in chemical and process industries due to the metastable nature of dispersed droplets. In gravity separators, the overall separation rate is governed by the formation of a densely packed zone (DPZ) of deforming and coalescing droplets that mediates between the dispersed and continuous phases ...

Rotordynamic Forces on Centrifugal Pump Impellers [PDF]
The asymmetric flow around an impeller in a volute exerts a force upon the impeller. To study the rotordynamic force on an impeller which is vibrating around its machine axis of rotation, the impeller, mounted on a dynamometer, is made to whirl in a ...

A new stall-onset criterion for low speed dynamic-stall [PDF]
The Beddoes/Leishman dynamic-stall model has become one of the most popular for the provision of unsteady aerofoil data embedded in much larger codes.

EMG‐Driven Telemetry and Inference System for Fish: Pose Reconstruction and Flow Sensing
This work introduces an electromyography (EMG)‐driven telemetry framework that reconstructs body pose and infers hydrodynamic conditions in freely swimming fish. A custom 16‐channel archival system records intramuscular EMG, enabling deep‐learning models to decode joint kinematics, classify flow regimes, and reveal channel‐efficient sensing strategies.

Effects of Cavitation on Rotordynamic Force Matrices [PDF]
When designing a turbomachine, particularly one which is to operate at high speed, it is important to be able to predict the fluid-induced forces, both steady and unsteady, acting on the various components of the machine.

Investigation of empennage buffeting [PDF]
Theoretical methods of predicting aircraft buffeting are reviewed. For the buffeting due to leading edge vortex breakdown, a method is developed to convert test data of mean square values of fluctuating normal force to buffeting vortex strength through ...
