Classification and mechanism of spring and summer floods in northern Xinjiang from 2006 to 2011
Proportion of three types of flood events in different months (orange: rainstorm‐type floods; blue: warming‐type floods; green: mixed‐type floods). In this study, floods that occurred in northern Xinjiang from 2006 to 2011 were divided into three categories: rainstorm type, warming type, and mixed type.

Abstract In the rejuvenated mountain front, preexisting basement structures are often reactivated and interact with the subsequent thin‐skinned deformation. How the deep structures affect the shallower ones is key to establishing the processes and mechanisms for the foreland fold‐and‐thrust system.
