UPPER PALEOZOIC STRATIGRAPHY OF EAST-CENTRAL IDAHO

Geological Society of America Bulletin, 1961
Mississippian, Pennsylvanian, and Permian rocks exposed in the Lemhi and Lost River ranges of east-central Idaho comprise a conformable succession of limestone and sandstone units. These strata have been correlated by earlier workers with the Mississippian Brazer Limestone of northern Utah and have been referred to by that name.

Khatanga-Vilyui Upper Paleozoic-Mesozoic Petroleum Province

AAPG Bulletin, 1991
The Khatanga-Vilyui province, which is in the northern and northeastern Siberian platform, occupies a vast (about 700,000 km{sup 2}) area of marginal depressions in a modern structure of which a number of heterogeneous tectonic elements are isolated.

Origins of upper Paleozoic quartzose sandstones, American southwest

Sedimentary Geology, 1988
Abstract In the latter half of the Paleozoic, all margins of the North American craton were orogenic highlands except for the Cordilleran miogeocline. Rivers that drained cratonic areas northwest of the Transcontinental arch probably flowed to the topographically low Cordilleran miogeocline, but little direct sedimentary record of these ancient ...

Upper Paleozoic Rocks in Central Idaho: GEOLOGICAL NOTES

AAPG Bulletin, 1962
Central Idaho contains a thick assemblage of Paleozoic strata, mostly in the region extending from the eastern border of the Idaho batholith in the Sawtooth Mountains northeastward to Montana, and from the Snake River Plain N. to about 45 degrees N.

Eolian origin of upper Paleozoic sandstones, southeastern Utah

Journal of Sedimentary Research, 1984
Abstract Throughout its outcrop in southeastern Utah, the Permian Cedar Mesa Sandstone contains large-scale crossbedding and is devoid of marine fossils except for sand-size skeletal fragments. Thin, inverse-graded laminations within crossbeds represent the unique product of climbing wind ripples.

Upper Paleozoic Section at Highwood Pass, Alberta

1958
Abstract Mississippian and Permian beds in an area in the eastern Rocky Mountains of Alberta are presented in the form of two overlapping sections constituting over 2,200 feet of strata. The Mississippian time span embraced extends from early Osagean through late Chesterian and corresponds to the Rundle group. The Permian deposits are of

THE UPPER PALEOZOIC PETROLEUM POTENTIAL IN THE SOUTHEASTERN NYUROLKA DEPRESSION

Russian Geology and Geophysics, 1992
Based on seismo-stratigraphic approach to the analysis of seismic record pattern for the southeastern Nyurolka depression, zones of developing of seismofacies of the type of organogenic paleoconstructions have been recognized in time sections and localized in plan.

A review of permineralized seed fern stems of the Upper Paleozoic

The Journal of the Torrey Botanical Society, 2006
Abstract Dunn, M. T. (Department of Biological Sciences, Cameron University, Lawton, Oklahoma 73505). A Review of Permineralized Seed Fern Stems of the Upper Paleozoic. J. Torrey Bot. Soc. 133: 20–32. 2006.—Stem morphotaxa continue to be the primary line of evidence for pteridosperm phylogenetic analyses, and the current state of our knowledge of Upper
