Testing for Burden in a Macroevolutionary System
Evolutionary changes in the fundamental components of the bivalve body plan are not restricted to the early part of their evolutionary history. ABSTRACT The traits defining organismal body plans are expected to acquire burden, approaching invariance as they accumulate characters that depend on them, developmentally and functionally.

Distribution of Upper Paleozoic Coal Seams in the Southeastern Ordos Basin
The Ordos Basin contains abundant coal resources in the Upper Paleozoic strata. They are shallowly buried or exposed in the periphery of the basin, forming recoverable coal mines and coalbed methane resources.

ABSTRACT Colorado's geologic, pedologic, topographic, hydrological, and climatic contrasts create strong but under‐synthesized opportunities for sustainable agritourism. This review investigates how geodiversity, and the broader environmental heterogeneity within which it operates, can be used to diversify farm income, strengthen place‐based visitor ...

Microplate Tectonics Through Earth History and Across Solid Multispheres
The evolution of tectonic microplates throughout Earth´s history as well as the transitions between microplates across different solid spheres offers a novel approach to expanding the traditional plate tectonics theory. ABSTRACT The evolution of tectonic microplates throughout Earth's history as well as the transitions between microplates across ...
