CHARACTERIZATIONS BASED ON k-TH UPPER AND LOWER RECORD VALUES
Summary: Let \(\{Y_n^{(k)},n\geq 1\}\) and \(\{Z_n^{(k)},n\geq 1\}\) denote, respectively, the sequences of \(k\)-th upper and lower record values of the sequence \(\{X_n,n\geq 1\}\) of independent identically distributed random variables with distribution function \(F\). Let \(n,k\) and \(r\) be given positive integers.

Prediction Intervals of the Record-Values Process
In this paper, exact prediction intervals of the record-values process are constructed. The record-values process model, may be considered as the collection of record-values with integer or non-integer indices.

Residual Tsallis Entropy and Record Values: Some New Insights
Recently, the uncertainty aspects of record values have been increasingly studied in the literature. In this paper, we study the residual Tsallis entropy of upper record values coming from random samples.

On Record Values from Linear Exponential Distribution [PDF]
In this paper single and product moments of upper record values are studied. Some recurrence relations for both single and product moments of upper records from linear exponential distribution are derived.

Moments and Recurrence Relations of Record Values from Truncated Weibull Distribution [PDF]
In this paper, some exact forms and recurrence relations for single and double moments of upper record values arising from left truncated Wiebull distribution are established.

Tahir et al. (2014) proposed a new four parameter lifetime distribution called Weibull-power function distribution. In this article, some simple recurrence relations for the single and product moments as well as for inverse and quotient moments have been
