Iterative roots of upper semicontinuous multifunctions [PDF]
The square iterative roots for strictly monotonic and upper semicontinuous functions with one set-valued point were fully described in (Li et al. in Publ. Math. (Debr.) 75:203-220, 2009).

Brittle membranes in finite elasticity
This work is devoted to the variational derivation of a reduced model for brittle membranes in finite elasticity. The main mathematical tools we develop for our analysis are: (i) a new density result in GSBVp$GSBV^{p}$ of functions satisfying a maximal‐rank constraint on the subgradients, which can be approximated by C1‐local immersions on regular ...

Existence of multiple solutions for a wide class of differential inclusions†
Abstract We give a unified approach to study the existence of multiple positive solutions of nonlinear differential inclusions of the form −u′′(t)∈F(t,u(t)),a.e.t∈(0,1),$$\begin{equation*}\hskip7pc -u^{\prime \prime }(t)\in F(t,u(t)),\; \text{a.e.} \; t \in (0,1), \end{equation*}$$subject to various nonlocal boundary conditions. We study these problems

Existence of Solutions for Inclusion Problems in Musielak‐Orlicz‐Sobolev Space Setting
In this paper, we mainly prove the existence of (weak) solutions of an inclusion problem with the Dirichlet boundary condition of the following form: L ∈ A(x, u, Du) + F(x, u, Du), in Ω, and u = 0, on ∂Ω, in Musielak‐Orlicz‐Sobolev spaces W01LΦΩ by using the surjective theorem, where Ω ⊂ ℝN is a bounded Lipschitz domain, L belongs to the dual space ...

Hβ‐Hausdorff functions for β ∈ [0, 1] are introduced, and common fixed‐point theorems for a pair of multivalued operators satisfying generalized contraction conditions are proven in a b‐metric space. Our results are proper extensions and new variants of many contraction conditions existing in literature.

A New Notion of Fuzzy Local Function and Some Applications
In this paper, a new notion of fuzzy local function called r‐fuzzy local function is introduced, and some properties are given in a fuzzy ideal topological space (X, τ, ℓ) in Šostak sense. After that, the concepts of fuzzy upper (resp., lower) almost ℓ‐continuous, weakly ℓ‐continuous, and almost weakly ℓ‐continuous multifunctions are introduced.

On r‐Generalized Fuzzy ℓ‐Closed Sets: Properties and Applications
In the present study, we introduce and characterize the class of r‐generalized fuzzy ℓ‐closed sets in a fuzzy ideal topological space (X, τ, ℓ) in Šostak sense. Also, we show that r‐generalized fuzzy closed set by Kim and Park (2002) ⟹r‐generalized fuzzy ℓ‐closed set, but the converse need not be true.

The main concentration of the present research is to explore several theoretical criteria for proving the existence results for the suggested boundary problem. In fact, for the first time, we formulate a new hybrid fractional differential inclusion in the φ‐Caputo settings depending on an increasing function φ subject to separated mixed φ‐hybrid ...

Topologically Transitive and Mixing Properties of Set‐Valued Dynamical Systems
We introduce and study two properties of dynamical systems: topologically transitive and topologically mixing under the set‐valued setting. We prove some implications of these two properties for set‐valued functions and generalize some results from a single‐valued case to a set‐valued case.
