Impact of Different Types of Dust on Solar Glass Transmittance and PV Module Performance
Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.This study characterizes the soiling losses between four natural dusts. It identifies significant differences in soiling losses, showing that a particular dust from Thailand has a 12.8% higher transmittance loss slope. In addition, measured slopes of Isc losses are consistently lower than calculated values, with an average discrepancy of 16.6%.
