Foliar spraying of CS‐CDs can form a film on the leaves of Brassica rapa, effectively reducing the enrichment and absorption of PS in the leaves, while increasing the biomass and nutrient content of the plants. In addition, CS‐CDs can also enrich the interfoliar microbial community and activate the plant's own defense metabolic pathways.

A biohybrid nanorobot integrating lytic bacteriophage N4 with Pd nanozymes is developed for targeted eradication of multidrug‐resistant E. coli biofilms. Synergistic bacterial lysis and ROS‐mediated oxidation enable simultaneous biofilm removal and antibiotic resistance genes degradation, maintaining high efficacy in complex wastewater environments ...

How Land Finance Drives Urban Expansion under Fiscal Pressure: Evidence from Chinese Cities
Urban expansion is commonly attributed to market-oriented forces, while public finance factors connected to government forces, especially land finance, in China’s institutional environment, can provide a more interesting explanation. Using a fixed-effect

A direct cascaded utilization strategy for spent LiFePO4 batteries efficiently extracts lithium from brine, embodying the “urban mining” concept. Phase fraction modulation revealed its significant impact on local bond lengths of crystal structure and the Li/Na diffusion energy barrier, identifying the best material (Li0.19FePO4) for lithium extraction.

Spatially Selective Solvation Chemistry by Local Charge Enrichment for Stable Potassium‐Metal Anodes
A MoC/NC functional intermediate medium preferentially interacts with KFSI to reconstruct the interfacial solvation structure and form a KF‐rich inorganic SEI. The synergistic integration of the electronically insulating SEI and MoC/NC suppresses electron tunneling, enables fast and balanced K+/electron transport, and promotes uniform K deposition for ...

Extra Climate Benefits From Afforestation Due to Reduced Forest Fragmentation in China
Afforestation in China reduced forest fragmentation in 2015, transforming 51.8 M ha of edge forests into interior forests. This enhanced carbon sequestration (1.4±0.2 Pg CO2e, a cooling biogeochemical effect), while reduced albedo (−0.9 Pg CO2e, a warming biophysical effect) partially offset the gain, yielding a net extra climate benefit of ...

A Morphological Approach to Predicting Urban Expansion
Many methods for modeling urban expansion are available. Most of these computational models demand a variety of large-scale environmental and socio-economic data to investigate the relationship between urban expansion and its driving forces.
