Biomass‐Coupled HER System: A Strategy for Sustainable and Low‐Cost Hydrogen Production
Pine wood is carbonized into a hierarchically porous biochar anode that undergoes carbon oxidation reaction, replacing the oxygen evolution reaction in alkaline water electrolysis. The resulting biomass‐coupled HER system converts water into hydrogen at low cell voltages, enabling low‐cost H2 production from renewable carbon resources. ABSTRACT Biomass‐
