Urban resilience – An urban management perspective
This paper seeks to contribute to the increasingly pressing debate on urban resilience. It does so from an urban manager's perspective. It reviews three conceptual approaches to the subject. These are then set against current urban development programmes in Kenya. It suggests a three-stage set of interventions.
