The link between travel Time Budget and Speed: a Key relationship for urban space-time dynamics [PDF]

open access: yes
The relationship between travel time budget (TTB) and speed is central to transport economics and allows us to analyze travel behaviour, urban structure and the transport system.

Metal‐Less Top Electrode Semitransparent Organic Solar Modules with an Average Visible Transmission of 51% and a Light Utilization Efficiency of 4%

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Semitransparent organic modules with device areas of 11.4 cm2 are developed for building‐integrated photovoltaics. Including a laser‐structured, metal‐free top electrode, the module achieves a PCE of 6.1% with an AVT of 47.5%. An extended back‐electrode design enhances optical and electrical performance, achieving PCE of 7.9%, AVT of 50.8%, and LUE of ...

Time‐Decoupled Electrolysis via a Rechargeable Metal‐Urea Battery for Waste Urea Treatment and Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rechargeable metal‐urea battery is reported with a time‐decoupled splitting mechanism, separating urea oxidation during charging and hydrogen evolution during discharging, to eliminate kinetic mismatches and boost efficiency. The development of the temporally decoupled rechargeable metal‐urea battery for hydrogen production not only addresses urea ...

Tolerant Molecular Engineering for High‐Rate and Ultra‐Long Cycle Life Zinc Anode

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A tolerant molecular engineering is proposed to greatly improve the stability of the zinc anode. This molecule enhances the conductivity of the electrolyte by reconstructing the hydrogen bonding network and accelerates ion transfer at the interface, resulting in uniform zinc stripping/plating.

The Urban Transportation Problem

open access: yesUniversity of Pennsylvania Law Review, 1975
This critical examination of the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964 attempts to identify the urban transportation problem and focuses on 3 aspects of the Act: the plight of the transportation disadvantaged; congestion; and the "journey to work". The social costs of automobile commuting are analyzed with particular reference to the social evils of ...
