A Geographic Information System (GIS)–CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation (CRITIC) Framework for Selecting Solar Photovoltaics Sites: A Case Study

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
A novel framework integrating environmental constraints, topography, infrastructure accessibility, and solar irradiation was developed to identify optimal utility‐scale solar photovoltaics (PV) sites in Lithuania. Western and central Lithuania showed the highest suitability for future solar PV expansion.
