The article examines the urbanonyms of Tashkent city as part of the ethnocultural space within the linguistic picture of the city dwellers' world. The article considers the term urbanonymy, the concept of "onomastic space of the city", as well as the names of hotels, food establishments (restaurants and cafes), and shops in Tashkent.
