It is gratifying that at least also Mycoplasma genitalium and Ureaplasma urealyticum are cited as causative agents of urethritis (1). In my opinion, especially U. ureal is underrated as a (co-) agent of urethritis. In 40 years of urological practice, this was by far the most frequent pathogen in smears in recurrent urethritis and cystitis.
