This case series evaluated the clinical utility of [99mTc]Tc‐MAG3 renal scintigraphy in managing malignant ureteral obstruction (MUO). Renal scintigraphy‐guided decision‐making allowed safe conservative management in selected patients, particularly those with a non‐functional excretion pattern, and helped avoid unnecessary urinary drainage.

Non-contrast-enhanced MR angiography using time-spin labelling inversion pulse technique for detecting crossing renal vessels in children with symptomatic ureteropelvic junction obstruction: comparison with surgical findings. [PDF]
OBJECTIVES: Investigate the feasibility and evaluate the accuracy of non-contrast-enhanced MR angiography (NC-MRA) using time-spin labelling inversion pulse (time-SLIP)to identify crossing renal vessels (CRVs) in children requiring surgical treatment of ...

We identified a recurrent heterozygous MAX c.179G>A:p.Arg60Gln variant in two unrelated females affected with the emerging phenotypes of MAX‐associated polydactyly‐macrocephaly syndrome. We propose that genitourinary abnormalities, including Mayer–Rokitanski–Kuster–Hauser syndrome in one individual, are an expansion of the known phenotypes associated ...

Laparoscopic transposition of lower pole crossing vessels (vascular hitch) in children with pelviureteric junction obstruction [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Congenital hydronephrosis due to intrinsic or extrinsic uretero-pelvic-junction (UPJ) obstruction (UPJO) is a common problem in childhood UPJO may be caused by intrinsic disorganization or by extrinsic compression from crossing vessels (CV);

Post‐pubertal stability of split renal function after pyeloplasty performed in childhood
Abstract Objectives While early outcomes after pyeloplasty are well‐documented, long‐term split renal function (SRF) stability, particularly beyond puberty, remains unclear. This study evaluates SRF after prepubertal pyeloplasty and identifies factors associated with late deterioration.
