Consequences of Childhood Urethral Disease
Postgraduate Medicine, 1968Among children in whom urinary tract infections recur or who involuntarily void during the day or night, more than 60 percent have urethral lesions. In 100 enuretic children who were cured or improved by treating urethral lesions, 59 percent benefited psychologically. Urethral disease in girls may lead to stress incontinence in later life.
