Temporal Changes in Land Use Highlight the Vulnerability of Highland Grasslands in Protected Areas in Southern Brazil

Subtropical Highland Grasslands showed greater net conversion than Mixed Ombrophilous Forest across our study PAs. In one PA created to conserve Highland Grasslands, net grassland loss inside the PA exceeded loss in adjacent buffer zones during the study period.
