This study explores the opposing effects of the mGluR2 and mGluR3 receptors on amyloid precursor protein processing. mGluR2 promotes amyloidogenic cleavage, while mGluR3 favors non‐amyloidogenic pathways. Using a brain‐penetrant nanobody as a mGluR2 positive allosteric modulator, the study uncovers how its chronic activation aggravates amyloid‐β burden

This study reported renal‐clearable bio‐orthogonal near‐infrared fluorogenic probes (BGRs) that specifically imaging and urinalysis of granzyme B for dynamic evaluation of RCC immunotherapy. BGRs not only differentiate immunotherapeutic responses in orthotopic RCC mice, but also enable sensitive optical urinalysis of granzyme B in clinical specimens ...

This study compared short‐term outcomes of robot‐assisted versus laparoscopic colectomy for colon cancer using 1:1 propensity score matching. Among 218 matched pairs, robot‐assisted colectomy was associated with reduced blood loss, fewer conversions to open surgery, lower overall complication rates, and shorter hospital stays, despite longer operative ...

In this retrospective study of 289 patients with Crohn's disease undergoing a single‐incision laparoscopy‐first (SILS‐first) strategy, conversion to open surgery was required in only 11.8% of cases. Fistula formation, colon resection, and smoking history were identified as independent risk factors for conversion, while postoperative complications and ...
