β3‐adrenoceptor agonism exerts lung protection in a rat model of bronchopulmonary dysplasia

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
The β3‐adrenoceptors agonist BRL37344 promotes lung maturation, preventing the progression of experimental bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Absract Background and Purpose Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) affects premature newborns, particularly those receiving supplemental oxygen therapy.

Refining Tumor Mutational Burden as a Predictive Biomarker for Pembrolizumab: A Real‐World Analysis in Japanese Patients

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
In this study, we investigated the predictive value of tumor mutational burden (TMB) for assessing the efficacy of pembrolizumab in a Japanese cohort. We analyzed real‐world data from 63,952 patients registered in the C‐CAT database who underwent comprehensive genomic profiling, and evaluated the therapeutic efficacy of pembrolizumab in 1899 of these ...

Small Cell Lung Cancer Establishes a Metabolic Autocrine Mechanism Through Active Extracellular ATP Transport

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) actively exports ATP through PANX1 channels, triggering P2RX7‐mediated autocrine signaling and promoting tumor proliferation. Inhibition of PANX1 or P2RX7 disrupts this loop and suppresses tumor growth. ABSTRACT Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive malignancy with a 5‐year survival rate of less than 7%.

LPC18:0 Secreted by Exogenous Neural Stem Cells Potentiates Neurogenesis and Functional Recovery via GPR55‐Mediated Signalling in Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
LPC18:0 secreted by exogenous neural stem cells potentiates neurogenesis via the GPR55/AKT/GSK3β signalling axis, which ultimately promotes spinal cord injury recovery. ABSTRACT Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a devastating condition with limited therapeutic options. Although neural stem cell (NSC) transplantation shows regenerative potential, its efficacy
