Zinc Exposure Causes Disulfidptosis to Induce Miscarriage by Up‐Regulating GATA1/METTL1/SLC7A11 Axis
Zn exposure up‐regulates GATA1, promoting GATA1‐mediated METTL1 and SLC7A11 transcription. It also enhances METTL1‐mediated m7G modification on SLC7A11 mRNA, increasing SLC7A11 mRNA stability. Ultimately, Zn exposure up‐regulates SLC7A11 at both transcriptional and post‐transcriptional levels, causing disulfidptosis. Knockdown of murine Slc7a11, Gata1,

Morphological characteristics of urine erythrocytes in children with erythrocyturia
Background. Nephropathies with erythrocyturia make up about 1/3 of all diseases of the kidneys and the urinary system, and they have some difficulties in differential diagnostics. Quite often, erythrocyturia is the only symptom of these diseases.

Reproducibility of urine sediment examination using different volumes of sample [PDF]
In clinical practice, urine collection could become a challenge if animals are affected by pollakiuria and stranguria. Furthermore the absence of standardised procedures in urinalysis could affect the reproducibility of the test.

Canagliflozin treatment reshapes the gut microbiota in DKD and elevates levels of melibiose, a metabolite derived from Roseburia intestinalis. Melibiose directly binds to and enhances the enzymatic activity of glyoxalase 1, leading to decreased methylglyoxal accumulation.

A biotin‐modified artificial insertion peptide functionalized three‐dimensional high‐curvature‐TiO2 nano‐interface was engineered in a microfluidic chip to improve the isolation efficiency of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs). This chip balanced affinity, releasability, and extendibility, enabling high‐throughput recovery of sEVs for downstream ...

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,

BACKGROUND: Haematuria is one of the clinical manifestations of sickle cell nephropathy. Although dipstick urinalysis detects haemoglobin and by extension haematuria; it does not confirm haematuria.

In renal calcium oxalate stone formation, G6PC downregulation leads to lactate accumulation. This lactate mediates CBP/p300‐dependent lactylation of SNAIL1 at K206, promoting its nuclear translocation. Nuclear SNAIL1 activates the TGF‐β/SMAD3 pathway, driving epithelial‐mesenchymal transition and fibrosis, which ultimately facilitates crystal ...
