An Evaluation of Vital Signs in Intubated Neonates Undergoing Lung Point‐of‐Care Ultrasound in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
Lung POCUS exams do not appear to affect the cardiorespiratory stability of intubated neonates, suggesting that lung POCUS can be performed without affecting cardiorespiratory stability within the NICU setting on critically ill neonates for diagnostic purposes.

The Application Value of Transvaginal Three‐Dimensional Ultrasonography in the Diagnosis of Adenomyosis of the Uterus

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
In this study, 3D‐TVS measurements of the uterine junction zone (JZ) in 120 patients showed that a JZmax threshold of ≥ 0.45 cm yielded 77% sensitivity and 89% specificity for adenomyosis diagnosis. Notably, JZ thickness varies minimally with age, demonstrating its stability and excellent diagnostic performance.

Diagnosis of Amniotic Sac Herniation Into Uterine Dehiscence Using Combined Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging—A Rare Complication Following Fetoscopic Laser Photocoagulation

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
Fistula of the anterior uterine wall, through which the amniotic sac of the recipient communicated with the anechoic area outside the uterus (left: ultrasound imaging; right: MRI imaging; star: amniotic sac herniation; arrow: fistula; triangle: bladder).

Automatic and Real‐Time Surgeon's Gazing Point Detection From Surgical Videos Using Machine Learning and Mathematical Algorithm

open access: yesJournal of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in intraoperative imaging has been expanding rapidly. The surgeon's gazing point indicates the exact site of surgical procedures and concentrates critical information for AI applications.

A Qualitative Review of Clinical Decision‐Making Using [99mTc]Tc‐Mercaptoacetyltriglycine Renal Scintigraphy in Patients With Malignant Ureteral Obstruction

open access: yesJournal of Medical Radiation Sciences, EarlyView.
This case series evaluated the clinical utility of [99mTc]Tc‐MAG3 renal scintigraphy in managing malignant ureteral obstruction (MUO). Renal scintigraphy‐guided decision‐making allowed safe conservative management in selected patients, particularly those with a non‐functional excretion pattern, and helped avoid unnecessary urinary drainage.
