Nippon kagaku zassi, 1969 臭化ヘプチルとトリフェニルポスフィンにより臭化トリフェニルヘプチルポスホニウムをつくり,窒素気流中ジメチルスルホキシドを溶媒とし,水素化ナトリウムを用いて天然物からえられた2,3-ジメトキシフェニルオクタナールとWittig反応によりウルシエノールジメチルエーテルをえた。また臭化ヘプテニルを原料とし同様にしてウルシアジエノールジメチルエーテルを合成することができた。
