Surfaceome: a new era in the discovery of immune evasion mechanisms of circulating tumor cells
In the era of immunotherapies, many patients either do not respond or eventually develop resistance. We propose to pave the way for proteomic analysis of surface‐expressed proteins called surfaceome, of circulating tumor cells. This approach seeks to identify immune evasion mechanisms and discover potential therapeutic targets. Circulating tumor cells (

Usability of AutoProof: a case study of software verification [PDF]
Many verification tools come out of academic projects, whose natural constraints do not typically lead to a strong focus on usability. For widespread use, however, usability is essential. Using a well-known benchmark, the Tokeneer problem, we evaluate the usability of a recent and promising verification tool: AutoProof. The results show the efficacy of

In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

Circulating tumor cells: advancing personalized therapy in small cell lung cancer patients
Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive form of lung cancer that spreads rapidly to secondary sites such as the brain and liver. Cancer cells circulating in the blood, “circulating tumor cells” (CTCs), have demonstrated prognostic value in SCLC, and evaluating biomarkers on CTCs could guide treatment decisions such as for PARP inhibitors ...

Usability Engineering of Games: A Comparative Analysis of Measuring Excitement Using Sensors, Direct Observations and Self-Reported Data [PDF]
Usability engineering and usability testing are concepts that continue to evolve. Interesting research studies and new ideas come up every now and then. This paper tests the hypothesis of using an EDA based physiological measurements as a usability testing tool by considering three measures which are observers opinions, self reported data and EDA based

Crowdsourcing: A Framework for Usability Evaluation [PDF]
Objective: This research explores using crowdsourcing for software usability evaluation. Background: Usability studies are essential for designing user-friendly software, but traditional methods are often costly and time-consuming. Crowdsourcing offers a quicker, cost-effective alternative for remote usability evaluation, though ensuring quality ...
