ECOLOGY OF USED ENGINE OIL ADDINOL
2023Comprehensive spectroscopic studies of used and regenerated with chloric acid samples of ADDINOL engine oil were carried out. It was revealed that during the operation of engine oil, structural changes in hydrocarbon components, the formation of oxygen-containing compounds, and the accumulation of products of thermal destruction and friction occur.

Engine Oils For Use With Alternate Fuels
SAE Technical Paper Series, 1984<div class="htmlview paragraph">Alternate fuels may be required to supplement future gasoline and diesel fuel supplies in spite of today's temporary excess of crude oil. A decade of lead time may be required to successfully bring these alternate fuels to the market place.

Analysis of Used Lubricant Engine Oil: SAE20W50
Advanced Materials Research, 2011As a result of the changes that occurs the lubricant oil during their use, aged engine oils tend to differ in chemical and physical composition from virgin oil. We have chosen for study theses variations (changes) the oil that is the most sell in Algeria for cars with engine gasoline. For this investigation the oil was examined at different kilometres.

Monitoring of Gas Turbine Engine-Used Oil
SAE Technical Paper Series, 1987<div class="htmlview paragraph">Gas Turbine engine manufacturers recommend an oil change if such properties as viscosity, acidity, etc, of the oil in use, exceed certain values. Since increases in the properties mentioned indicate the lubricant to be undergoing thermo-oxidative stress, the advice appears sound.

The lubricating properties of used engine oil
Wear, 1982Abstract The lubricating properties of oil samples from four cars using either leaded or unleaded gasolene were examined using a cross-pin-type lubricant tester and a JIS four-ball tester. The zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZnDTP) content in the oil samples was determined by thin layer chromatography (TLC). The wear scar diameter increased with running
