On Ethically-Sensitive User Story Engineering
International Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2021The increasingly anthropomorphic, at times even autocratic, nature of software, exhibited during routine activities such as decision-making, question-answering, or recommending, has only contributed to the enduring issue of software ethics.

Proceedings of the 2007 symposium on Computer human interaction for the management of information technology, 2007
In this paper, we describe how user roles and persona accurately target a product's audience. Beginning with the definition of user roles and personas, we show how user roles feed the persona creation process. Personas then serve as the primary design communication vehicle within the product team.

Interactions, 2013
User stories are one of the most popular alternatives to traditional user requirement specifications (see Figure 1). But despite their promising name, user stories are not about – and don’t necessarily help – users at all. In most cases, user stories are written about roles that users adopt and take no account of the needs and behaviours of real users.

User Story Extraction from Online News for Software Requirements Elicitation: A Conceptual Model
International Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2019To specify good requirements, system analysts need to understand the domain knowledge of the system. There are several techniques in requirements elicitation to improve domain knowledge understanding, such as user interviews, questioners, document ...

On Marketable User Stories for Customer Satisfaction [PDF]
The profitability, reputability, and sustainability of any organization depend intrinsically on customer satisfaction. In the context of an agile project, this paper proposes a set of conceptual models that form an input to a customer-centered, market-oriented, user story engineering process aiming to provide a continual positive customer experience ...

A Reference Method for User Story Requirements in Agile Systems Development
2017 IEEE 25th International Requirements Engineering Conference Workshops (REW), 2017User story literature nearly exclusively studies how to create, prioritise, or ensure the quality of a user story. Little is known about other activities and artefacts involved preceding or following these activities in systems development ...

Business process ontology for defining user story
International Conference on Interaction Sciences, 2016Writing a user story is essential to communicate with end users and developers. It is popular practices found in most agile methodologies. Therefore, to reuse the user stories from the previous successful projects becomes necessary.
