On Ethically-Sensitive User Story Engineering
International Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2021The increasingly anthropomorphic, at times even autocratic, nature of software, exhibited during routine activities such as decision-making, question-answering, or recommending, has only contributed to the enduring issue of software ethics.

Proceedings of the 2007 symposium on Computer human interaction for the management of information technology, 2007
In this paper, we describe how user roles and persona accurately target a product's audience. Beginning with the definition of user roles and personas, we show how user roles feed the persona creation process. Personas then serve as the primary design communication vehicle within the product team.

User stories are one of the most popular alternatives to traditional user requirement specifications (see Figure 1). But despite their promising name, user stories are not about – and don’t necessarily help – users at all. In most cases, user stories are written about roles that users adopt and take no account of the needs and behaviours of real users.

Using data collections available on the Internet has for many people became the main medium for staying informed about the world. Many of these collections are in nature dynamic, evolving as the subjects they describe change. The goal of different research areas is to identify and highlight these changes to better enable readers to track stories.
