C‐Terminal Tail Elongation Adds a New Dimension to the Tubulin Code

ABSTRACT Tubulin C‐terminal tails undergo diverse post‐translational modifications that regulate microtubule interactions with motors and severing enzymes. TTLL11, a member of the tubulin tyrosine ligase‐like (TTLL) family, uniquely catalyzes glutamate addition to the terminal α‐carboxyl group of both α‐ and β‐primary tubulin tails.

Aqueous Supercapacitor with Wide‐Temperature Operability and over 100,000 Cycles Enabled by Water‐in‐Salt Electrolyte

This study presents a symmetric supercapacitor with activated carbon electrodes and a “water‐in‐salt” electrolyte (WiSE) based on lithium perchlorate, offering over 100,000 cycles with over 90 % capacity retention. The supercapacitor operates efficiently from −20 to 80 °C, enhancing performance, stability, and all‐season operability.

Rounded Monodisperse Fluorescent Nanodiamonds

Nanodiamond (ND) shape control using rapid molten‐nitrate etching is studied as a scale‐up method for monodispersed rounded particles. Optimal etching condition (567°C for 6 min) yields NDs with atomically stepped surfaces and reduced sp2 content. Defect Passivation via Plasma Modification of Lead Halide Perovskite Thin Films

Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, Volume 34, Issue 7, Page 813-820, July 2026.
We demonstrate that exposure of perovskite thin films to diffuse coplanar surface barrier discharge nitrogen plasma leads to an increase in photoluminescence, attributed to reduced defect densities. This results in implied open‐circuit voltage improvement of up to 80 mV and finalized solar cell open‐circuit gains up to 60 mV.
