Uterine Neoplasms in 36 Rabbits.

動物病院に来院し, 子宮腫瘍と診断された36例のウサギについて検討した。主訴として陰部からの出血が最も多く, また食欲不振や乳腺の腫脹なども多く認められた。診断には, 尿の血液反応, 腹部の触診と乳腺の観察, そして腹部超音波検査が有用であった。腫瘍は腺腫や腺癌が多数を占め, これらは比較的若齢のうちに発生することも多かった。術後短期間の転帰は腫瘍の種類によるよりもむしろ術前の全身状態によるところが大きいものと思われた。早期の発見と適切な外科手術が行われる場合には予後は比較的良好であるが, むしろ若齢時の避妊手術が予防のために有意義であるものと思われた。
