Clinical Anatomy, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Urogenital epithelium replaces the original paramesonephric (Müllerian) epithelium in the human fetal vagina. We re‐investigated this cell replacement histologically and with three‐dimensional reconstructions. In the lesser pelvis, both Müllerian ducts fuse to form the uterovaginal canal.
