Energetic Offset in Organic Solar Cells‐ Importance, Confusion and Outlook

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Energetic offsets in organic solar cells (OSCs) remain a subject of debate due to measurement‐ and lab‐dependent discrepancies. This Perspective clarifies the physical origins of these variations and identifies temperature‐dependent electro‐optical methods as a reliable approach to obtain consistent offset values.

Ultrafast Vertical Organic Electrochemical Transistors With Ion‐Permeable Conductive Polymer Top Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Vertical organic electrochemical transistors (vOECTs) are limited in speed by ion‐impermeable metal electrodes that slow ion injection. Using ion‐permeable PBFDO top electrodes allows direct vertical ion injection into BBL channels, achieving high current densities (>400 A cm−2), large on/off ratios (>106), and ultrafast switching in 28 µs. This sets a

Signature mutations from B. subtilis spores exposed to radiations and simulated space environments

open access: yes, 2010
Rifampicin-resistant mutants were collected from the spores of three B. subtilis strains, HA101(HA, repair profecient), TKJ6312 (US, UV-repair defective) and TKJ6412 (RF, recombination defecient) grown after exposure to various radiations and simulated ...
