An Atypical Presentation of Tubulointerstitial Nephritis With Uveitis (TINU) in an Older Patient Requiring Emergency Dialysis: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Tubulointerstitial nephritis with uveitis (TINU) is an immune‐mediated systemic disorder most commonly described in adolescents and young adults, and its recognition in older patients remains challenging. We report the case of a 58‐year‐old woman who presented with systemic symptoms and rapidly progressive acute kidney injury.

The Art of Deception: Multiple Myeloma Imitating Spondyloarthritis—A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Rheumatic symptoms can be associated with malignancies. Although sacroiliitis is not a classic paraneoplastic syndrome, malignant infiltration of sacroiliac joints by multiple myeloma can mimic inflammatory rheumatologic disease. Multiple myeloma (MM), a plasma cell malignancy often presenting with bone pain, can involve axial skeletal ...

Triple Negative Breast Cancer With Choroidal Metastasis Responsive to Sacituzumab Govitecan and Radiation Therapy

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Orbital metastases are rare in patients with breast cancer. However, medical management of orbital metastases is limited by the inability of treatment options to penetrate the blood‐brain barrier. In patients with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), these treatment options are further limited.

Assessing Effects of Riboflavin/UV‐A Cross‐Linking on Aqueous Outflow Facility, Corneal Biomechanics and Their Association With Intraocular Pressure

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, Volume 19, Issue 2, February 2026.
Our study demonstrates that UV cross‐linking (CXL) reduces outflow facility while increasing corneal elasticity across IOP levels of 20–40 mmHg, measured using direct manometry and non‐contact optical coherence elastography. These results highlight both parameters as potential indicators for evaluating CXL effectiveness and monitoring keratoconus ...
