Abstract Latin America is undergoing rapid population aging alongside a rising burden of dementia. While the region holds substantial potential for dementia risk reduction, challenges remain, such as delayed diagnoses, limited access to specialized care and biomarker testing, persistent stigma, and deep‐rooted structural inequities.

Structural complexity promotes functionally diverse plant–frugivore interactions locally, while connectivity facilitates the arrival of late‐successional seeds from external sources.

Quantifying urban tree canopy cooling capacity using Bayesian hierarchical models and satellite imagery

We analyzed how increasing urban tree canopy cover in city areas of 900 m2 can reduce land surface temperatures, using detailed aerial‐LiDAR and satellite data with Bayesian hierarchical models.

Chlorophyll pigment has attracted increasing interest due to its applications in cosmetics, medicine and the food industry, largely owing to its antioxidant properties and characteristic green colour.
