Proteomic signatures of equine dental tooth tissues in ageing and disease
Abstract Background Ageing and dental disease in horses lead to structural and functional deterioration of dental tissues, yet their molecular signatures remain poorly characterised. Understanding how these processes alter the protein composition of enamel, dentin, cementum and pulp is essential for improving equine oral health and identifying ...

Construction of Chronic Kidney Disease Mouse Model Induced by Diets With Different Adenine Content
By administering a 4 weeks adenine diet to C57BL/6J mice, we identified 0.2% adenine in purified feed as the optimal chronic kidney disease model. This model induces severe renal damage, gut dysbiosis, uremic toxin accumulation, and CKD mineral bone disorder, providing a clinically relevant platform for mechanistic and therapeutic studies.

Current Progress in Differentiating Crohn's Disease From Intestinal Tuberculosis
Currently, there are various methods from different fields used to differentiate Crohn's disease from intestinal tuberculosis (ITB). Endoscopic findings are an important cornerstone. They can be used individually or in combination (models) to demonstrate excellent discriminative ability.

Clostridium scindens and its metabolite indole‐3‐acetic acid (IAA) are identified as a keystone taxon and metabolic signature in centenarians. Clostridium scindens enhances microbial network stability and produces IAA via its own amidase (AMIE) and aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH), thus promoting intestinal homeostasis by activating the aryl hydrocarbon ...
