The evolving role of immunotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesCancer, Volume 132, Issue 18, 15 September 2026.
Abstract Ovarian cancer remains a major cause of gynecologic cancer mortality; and, although immune checkpoint inhibitors have transformed treatment in other solid tumors, their activity in ovarian cancer has been limited by tumor heterogeneity, an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, and the lack of robust predictive biomarkers.

Boosting Efficiency and Stability of Air‐Processed Blade‐Coated All‐Polymer Organic Solar Cells Based: The Role of Electron Transport Layer and Additives

open access: yesSolar RRL, Volume 10, Issue 17, 15 September 2026.
All‐polymer PM6:PY‐IT solar cells processed by blade coating in air using o‐xylene are studied alongside a PM6:Y12 binary reference and an advanced ternary PM6:Y12:PY‐IT system. We examine electron transport layers and additives to tune morphology, charge transport, and device efficiency. Characterization includes J–V, GIWAXS, AFM, and SCLC.

Synergistic Action of Rhizopus oryzae Lipase and Fusarium oxysporum Cutinase in the Enzymatic Transesterification of a High‐Free Fatty Acid Oil

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 17, 14 September 2026.
A bienzymatic system of Rhizopus oryzae lipase and Fusarium oxysporum cutinase was optimized for the transesterification of high‐free fatty acid waste oil into biodiesel. Synergistic enzyme action, immobilization‐enabled reusability, and successful 100 mL scale‐up highlight the industrial potential of the suggested biocatalytic approach.

Electrochemical Determination of the Ionization Energy and the Electron Affinity of Lead Halide Perovskite Thin Films: A Comparison to Ultraviolet Photoelectron Spectroscopy

open access: yesChemPhysChem, Volume 27, Issue 17, 14 September 2026.
Benchmarking cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical voltage spectroscopy (EVS), and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS), complemented by photothermal deflection spectroscopy (PDS), provides practical guidance for halide perovskite energy‐level studies. Strategies for consistent onset determination across techniques are additionally addressed.
