From Exploration to Development: The Completion Evolution in Vaca Muerta
Day 1 Mon, March 20, 2023, 2023AbstractOperators in the Neuquén basin have developed Vaca Muerta with different results. In our case, it has gone from vertical exploratory wells, almost ten years ago, to a current development phase with multi-horizontal well PADs targeting different landings. During this period, many lessons have been learned and applied.

Diverse eucritic pebbles in the Vaca Muerta mesosiderite
Earth and Planetary Science Letters, 1987Seven 5-cm basaltic pebbles from the Vaca Muerta mesosiderite were studied by neutron activation and electron microprobe analysis, and three additional pebbles were studied petrographically. The cumulate pebbles had low REE concentrations and high Eu/Sm ratios, indicating the absence of intercumulus liquid.
