Radiation Inactivation of Vaccinia Virus

Radiation inactivation of P/sup 3//sup 2/-labeled vaccinia virus indicates that the virus possesses one or two sites which are responsible for attachment to the host cell. The sensitive volume of the attachment site was found to correspond to a molecular weight of about 3 million.
