Hippo pathway disruption and YAP1 activation in anogenital papillary squamous intraepithelial lesion

Disruption of the Hippo Pathway with YAP1 activation is a consistent finding in papillary squamous intraepithelial lesions and may underlie their altered epithelial maturation and HPV E6/E7 expression patterns, providing new insight into the pathogenesis of this distinct low‐risk HPV‐associated lesion.
