If left untreated, it can lead to persistent dermatitis, urinary tract infections, and failure to thrive. HPV‐Related Cancers in Solid Organ Transplant Recipients: A Nationwide Danish Cohort Study

Solid organ transplant recipients (SOTRs) face chronic immunosuppression, leaving them susceptible to viral infections. Of particular concern is persistent infection with human papillomavirus (HPV), which presents a significant cancer risk.
